An update on the rugby, since I haven’t mentioned it for a while.

Saturdays game wasn’t spectacular, however did produce an exciting finish. With Biggar leading 16-15 into injury time, an onslaught of their 22 eventually provided Hamilton with a penalty and the opportunity to win the game with the last kick of the ball. Unfortunately our goal-kicker missed the fairly easy kick and the game was lost.

Hamilton now sit 4th in the league, however their fate is still in their own hands, as they have still to play all the teams above them. I’m not sure we can do it this year, but with 3 promotion slots available this might be as good a time as any!

We travel away to GHA next week, and if we lose there it’s as good as all over for this season.
